First up with Sitech

Wow, what an enormously brilliant day. Those of us who attended the first day training with Jenny B and her team were in for a treat.

Nigel H opened proceedings with a ‘journey so far speech’. He praised the vision of the fund holders and really set the tone for a great day.

Russell P shared the objectives of the project- His humour and expressions really engage you in what could have been a bor….ring message. Wish I had his skill.

Then Jenny B gets up. She is the lead educational consultant at Sitech (or some other REALLY flash title). These boards, and their potential is spelt out clearly. The workload is initially bigger but as the skills are acquired by using the thing that should reduce over time. She stressed the importance of ‘interactivity’.

“If what you do on the board could equally be achieved through use of the OHP then you are not using the board to its full potential.”

For those of you who attended and are reading now, I encourage you to leave a comment. It is only through discussion, mutual respect and co-operation that we can get the most out of these Interwrite boards.
