		<description>This is a great idea - though none of my kids have asked to bring them into class. We have however just started using songza.com to search for songs to listen to in class.  I agree with Chrissy - for one once the
kids go at the end of the day I have my music on to work too.  Would be interesting to talk to my students more about this!</description>

		<description>I've been asking for student to be allowed to have their iPods at school for certain periods of time in the classroom for a while now.  Fingers crossed, I think that decision may be very close ;)  
Having my own pre-teens and now teenagers has taught me that the saturation of noise whilst completing their homework is what they like!  How many of you are nodding your head in agreement as you remember asking your own children how on earth can they concentrate on their homework as they txt, write, have the stereo blaring and the TV on??  And they reply "no problem at all!"</description>
