http://www.abc.net.au/reslib/200806/r266085_1112658.jpg Apparently, though I have done no background reading for this, but the way that small businesses are going is to run their computer network from a remote location. You merely log onto the remote server. Thereby making everyone a "Remote User". Access the files and folders remotely and therefore all the major processing power comes in through the net. This system seems like it could be adapted to the school environment.

I wonder if this system will be practical or whether there would be any issues?

Hmmmm…. Worth investigating I think.

There are so many Educators out there. The Wiki is looking rather huge.

So who would you recommend a new teacher? Principal? Read to get an idea of the benefits of sharing (though blogging) with their school community?

West End School played host to a flying visit from the Anne Tolley, Minister of Education. She had discussions with the Principal as well as a student led tour of the school. I happened to be on site that day but missed her visit. Fortunately students were able to direct her around the classes, inclusing some on the iwb. Greg should note the height of these boards ;-) http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3619/3564984506_0aac0d15e1.jpg?v=0 http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3332/3564166623_170d38292d.jpg?v=0

Wiremu, my Sitech buddy, headed up to Waitangi for:

Te Akatea Māori Principals’ National Conference 2009

While he was there he managed to get his picture taken with all the major keynotes – How he does it remains a mystery. Looks like he had lots of fun as well as offering the Sitech hand of support to those who attended.

Go William.
