Beginnings of my inquiries into School Networks

http://www.abc.net.au/reslib/200806/r266085_1112658.jpg Apparently, though I have done no background reading for this, but the way that small businesses are going is to run their computer network from a remote location. You merely log onto the remote server. Thereby making everyone a "Remote User". Access the files and folders remotely and therefore all the major processing power comes in through the net. This system seems like it could be adapted to the school environment.

I wonder if this system will be practical or whether there would be any issues?

Hmmmm…. Worth investigating I think.

  1. like Googles education package does … cloud computing for schools. Good unless you go offline. Christ College in ChCh, Andrew Churches and the boys from TEK have been outlining their exploration of this.
