Educating the Dragon

Learning@Schools09 was a real high for me. I enjoyed my time in the Bloggers’ cafe enormously. Not only did I get to spend time with some old friends – not saying yous fel las are old – but I really enjoyed the new conversations I’ve been having. I did a little totting up of my new contacts from around the country (44) in all. And I’m truly hoping for an opportunity to see each one of them in the next 12 months, no promises. Am heading to Taupo tomorrow for Tuesday night so get in touch if I’m near you. Sitting in the Bloggers’Cafe with Andrew Salisbury from St Joseph’s School in Feilding. Just wanted to share the conversation I had with him about his classroom practise. This was all as a result of a conversation about blogging and podcasts and what would he could do with ICT now that he feels he has some wriggle room with his small, more familiar class of Year 5s Have a listen here. Today, or is it yesterday, has been a long one. Always good to catch up with people. I’m really excited about the Bloggers’ Cafe tomorrow. We will be making time for guest blogging.
