Twitter killed the Blogging Star

A little discussion around the bloggers cafe at ULearn09 was the serious drop in the number of blog posts NZEducators are producing. There has been quite a time shift for my blogfeeder to reach 50 posts. A year or two ago it would take about a week. Now, even with me subscribing to more NZers over the last 12 months I could happily say that the magic 50 is taking an additonal 10 to 14 days to be reached. Kinda makes me think. Any ideas?

http://www.biojobblog.com/uploads/image/twitter-hashclouds(1).jpg I love the fact that I can read some great posts from some great minds. Andrew Churches wrote this post about the use of twitter and I spent the whole reading time nodding my head. If you haven’t read it I suggest you should. The next time some talks to about the value of Twitter I’m armed and ready… Thanks Andrew .

http://graphics8.nytimes.com/images/2007/04/22/business/22slip.1.600.jpg What’s your Jack Number?

I just decided to follow the Twitter bread crumbs and see where it would lead.

I started with me and took the top left of everyone’s PEOPLE:

Simon M Evans

Kevin Gamble

Buzz Andersen

Jack Dorsey

I’m four people away from Jack Dorsey … Kinda hit circle just here as Jack appears to follow himself top left.

But Four clicks from Jack!
